Admissions
Welcome
Thank you for your interest in learning more about Teach One Academy & Learning Center. We are pleased you have chosen to explore our community and hope that you find Teach One Academy & Learning Center to be the right fit for your child.
As an independent learning center for college-bound students, Teach One Academy & Learning Center represents an opportunity for students to form lasting relationships, discover talents and abilities, and develop a sense of responsibility and responsiveness to others. We know that our graduates are entering a world that will ask much of them, not only that they give of their skills and talents, but also that they live caring and generous lives. To be useful and rewarding, knowledge must be grounded in an environment of caring and commitment.
While at Teach One Academy & Learning Center, students will participate in S.T.E.M., discover a foreign language, and learn about Mother Earth (Gardening), create "Food" For Thought!!! (Nutrition & Cooking), understand the complexities of mathematical principles and concepts, and explore science through scores of experiments. They will learn to think for themselves and to trust their own judgment. They will find mentors and friends. They will learn to compete and trust their teammates. Through all of this, they will learn who they are, what they value, and what they have to offer others, because this is a community in which the work of the institution falls to the students of the school — they produce the newspaper and the yearbook; they write the poetry and the short stories; they run student government and plan their own activities. They are the school.
No web site can do justice to the essence of a school. We invite you to schedule an appoint to tour the campus or attend a scheduled Open House during the year to experience the vibrant Teach One Academy & Learning Center first hand.
