Mission & Vision

Mission

Our commitment to inspiring young people to develop to their fullest potential despite whatever obstacles may lie in their paths is the guiding light of our mission to Motivate, Educate, and Empower those of the communities we serve.

Our primary goals are to increase the high school graduation and employment rate of youth within the communities we serve while minimizing the rates of juvenile incarceration, gang violence, teenage pregnancy, and substance/alcohol abuse.

Vision

Teach One  Academy & Learning Center arose out of the need to aid in closing the racial, economic, and digital divide that stems from illiteracy. As we reach out and service our community, we hope to empower all through education.

The vision of Teach One Academy & Learning Center is to:
  • Aid in closing the racial, economic, and digital divide that stems from illiteracy;
  • Provide the necessary resources to ensure children, young adults, and adults are empowered financially, emotionally, and spiritually;
  • Nurture a common bond between parent and child through literacy and open communication;
  • Ensure adults are aware of the many educational and community resources that are available to them and/or their child;
  • Provide financial support to graduating high school seniors through the College Freshman Scholarship;
  • Provide resources, both educational and financial, to aid future young entrepreneurs;
  • To better serve our youth community and their families by creating and maintaining collaborative partnerships among the various community organizations, government entities, and corporations.
